For the record, I would actually have liked/loved the new Daleks if they weren't so Technicolour. I like how much larger they are, and the deeper, more intimidating voices. They actually could've been QUITE imposing.
I find it quite depressing how people hate the new Daleks. The colours dictate the new ranks, so for instance in future Dalek stories we'll get maybe one or two Strategists and Scientists (which hopefully means their plans will be a lot more militarised), one Supreme and the majority seen being Drones.
